Faith Forward Outreach Ministry

Our Missions Work
Disaster relief efforts are essential because they provide immediate support to communities facing unimaginable loss and hardship. Going directly into affected areas allows us to assess the situation firsthand, deliver critical supplies, and offer comfort to those who are suffering. By being physically present, we can help organize and distribute resources efficiently, ensuring that aid reaches those who need it most. Beyond the tangible supplies, our presence shows solidarity and compassion, reminding those affected that they are not alone in their struggle. In times of disaster, the support of a caring community can make a significant difference in helping people rebuild their lives and find hope again
October 2024
Flat Rock / Hendersonville
Following Hurricane Helene's impact on Western North Carolina, FFOM, with support from Evangel Assembly of God and the Gastonia, NC community, gathered donations and distributed them to families in Flat Rock and Hendersonville, NC who were devastated by the storm. We successfully delivered water, non-perishable food, diapers, and wipes to a temporary military hub for further distribution. Working alongside the military and local schools, FFOM helped sort and fulfill orders, ensuring supplies were delivered directly to the homes most affected by the hurricane.

November 2024
North Wilksborough, NC
As part of ongoing disaster relief efforts in the Western North Carolina community, FFOM traveled to North Wilkesboro, NC, to deliver donations and help organize a warehouse serving as a hub for free donations for victims of Hurricane Helene. FFOM assisted in sorting clothes, food, diapers, and other essential items to ensure they were ready for distribution.

January 2025
Canton, NC
In January, FFOM had the privilege of assisting with the cleanup efforts at Bethel Baptist Christian Academy in Canton, NC, which was severely impacted by 17 feet of floodwaters, resulting in extensive damage to the school. FFOM contributed by diligently working to restore electrical outlets, clean the locker rooms, and remove debris from the school's baseball field caused by the flooding.
February 2025
Canton, NC
After spending time in Canton, NC, in January, FFOM recognized the significant needs within the community and made the decision to take 'Tables in the Wilderness' on the road. In collaboration with Bethel Christian Academy, we set up at Bethel Baptist Church, where we distributed a wide range of essential items to the Canton community, including free clothes, shoes, hygiene products, toiletries, non-perishable and fresh hot food, home goods, blankets, coats, and much more.
